As happened in the famous "allegory of the cave" described by Plato to explain the sensible and intelligible worlds through different elements included in this allegory, such as a wall, a bonfire and a cave, among others, to explain its philosophical approach through the interrelation of all these elements with each other, in the "allegory of the archer" described in one of the chapters of the book "I want to be a doctor: discover your vocation" on the ten most important characteristics of the vocational health professional, the different elements that intervene in the shooting of the arrow by an archer with the aim of hitting the target, are all connected to each other, like the machinery of a clock, to give shape to the vocational act carried out in the humane and compassionate care of the patient.
